New digital sci fi art. Tried to keep realism that's why you can't see planets and spaceships and... I'm very proud of the resault and I see that my "realism work" is getting better and better, i hope you think so too. Yeah sooo, I have to say thx, to alyn for this great "clouding" method.

I choose a scene that isn't so famous, not as "in the clouds" or "underwater" or sumthin like that, and I think I catched the athmospheare very well.

SO, enjoy the scene,

Daily Deviation, 2005-09-22

Daily DeviationThe dark night befalling the black ocean, the tumlting sea shimmering from star light as the cold winds whips waves against the steel hull of the oceanic habitat. It's just the calm before the storm, deafening thunder and fatal clouds rolling closer as the birds make their last round around the big black dome. And then, all hell breaks lose!

Storm is a striking scene in an incredibly realistic looking environment by german 3D artist *en-tyrael.

is this a vessel or a city in the sea? either way i love it. the surfaces, the organic shapes. helluva lot better than that atlantis city on "stargate:atlantis", that's for damn sure. lighting on the clouds don't match the rest of the scene, but that's nitpicking... :-) niceness

Great compilation of images--I assume you combined some with the clouds, the water, and all. It looks amazing. It definitely met your goal, I feel, of keeping it realistic.

I love it and I haven't seen anything like this in a while, def +fav from me. My only suggestion is that the top portion of the clouds could be faded a little more to blend in with that dark sky.
